DEPARTMENTAL PRIORITIES

This report is issued annually by the Director following the establishment of national priorities and the priorities of public service.

Description of Publication:	This publication takes into account the priorities of the public service, the Government of the British Virgin Islands and the rest of the community. This publication seeks to inform our clients of the role we expect to play as a decision support service centre. This report contains a point form summary of the national development priorities as expressed in the Budget Speech, the priorities of the public sector as garnered from policy sources and the broad priorities of the Development Planning Unit. The report continues with the pledge of service to our customers, the output we have planned and the expected outcomes. In terms of details, we list the Budget priorities according to ministries, a quarterly break down of the departmental work programme, the pledge of commitment in serving our clients and customers, our work programme outputs and the outcomes of our work groups.
