This Departmental Report of the Development
Planning Unit is published annually at most two
quarters in arrears. This publication contains a
departmental overview, details of departmental
performance, financial performance, staff
development, training and other information.
In addition the reports contain a message from
the Head of Department and a management
representation statement.
These reports are intended to inform the public
of the department’s performance in detail. The
intent here is to provide adequate information to
determine whether the department met its
objectives and how consistent were these
objectives with those of the Government. By
far the most relevant and informative sections
are the departmental performance and the
departmental overview. These sections
concentrate on the role and mission, targets,
indicators and outcomes of our own performance
